In your quest for knowledge of internet marketing, sometimes you need more than just online articles to read. Particularly if you are not very savvy about websites and the way the internet works for promotion, you might need a bit of extra help in understanding the concepts and techniques.
The good news is that there are lots of Internet Marketing Education resources available, both free and at a nominal cost, online and offline.
Online Internet Marketing Education Resources
Just do a search on “internet marketing” and you can see how popular this topic is from the vast number of results. But that means there are lots of good resources available.
It will probably be easier to sift through all the results if you make your search more specific, such as Internet Marketing Education or something that focuses on a specific sub niche. If you are looking for location based education, try searching for something like aussie internet marketing or whatever location you happen to be looking for.
Some marketing companies provide a lot of information for free via blog posts or e-books. Many of them also provide short videos of interviews with internet marketing pros or from conferences. Of course, the idea often is to get you to pay for their services, but there is still a lot of good information you can glean for free and you can use those free reports to help determine whether their products might really be worth investing in.
Search for internet marketing groups, blogs, and forums so you can brainstorm with other like-minded individuals and share ideas on promotion, SEO strategies, and advertising. Many of them cater to a specific niche which can help you with your niche (or help you to choose a niche).
In addition to these free opportunities, you might want to consider signing up for a webinar or other types of internet marketing programs. Webinars can help you learn step by step about such things as social media, lead generation, video marketing, and inbound marketing.
Offline Internet Marketing Education Resources
Some of us learn easier when we have a more hands-on, interactive experience. Luckily, there are offline options available if you are one of these types of people.
If you live in a major metropolitan area, chances are an internet marketing education seminar is coming your way some time in the future. There are plenty of symposiums and conferences as well as meet-ups with other internet marketers who live near you.
Find an internet marketing mentor if you can, either online or offline. Contact the owner of a blog devoted to internet marketing and develop a relationship with them. Oftentimes, people are happy to share information with a newbie. Check into resources available in your locality, such as aid to small business owners.
When it comes to Internet Marketing Education, there is a lot to learn, and the playing field keeps changing. It is difficult to keep up on the newest and best internet marketing strategies for online promotion and advertising. Take the time to find, and use, any of these resources to help your business grow.
See you at the top of Google!

Hi Sean,
There is a ton of people who want to get an internet marketing education. The right internet marketing mentor can make or break your education. I think it’s really important to take your time choosing where to get your internet marketing education.
There is a lot of free information on the internet about internet marketing. I think it’s definitely worth accessing the free material from some of these mentors. It will help you decide who you want to buy an internet marketing course from in the future.

Hi Sean
It is great to see that I can get as much information as I want on the internet and your ideas for sourcing that information are very helpful.
Because I have been in the YOTA forum for over 12 months and have cut my teeth there, I haven’t needed to look further afield because of the huge abundance of information, the great team I am with and all the fun we have learning together and the progress I know that I am making has more than satisfied my development as an internet marketer.
I have been to a couple of seminars that included Internet Marketing Mentors and I have also received emails from some, but I find them too slick, promising to make me rich quick basically, and I know that doesn’t work.
It is good to know that there is alot of education out there and now I can source it if I need to.
Thankyou.

Over the last 4 years I’ve looked at quite a few Internet Marketing educational programs, both free and commercial. Some are provided by people who are honest and forthright. Some are outright scams. The key phrase here is “BE CAREFUL”.
With my ancestors having originated from Yorkshire (damn near Scottish) I tend to be a bit tight with my coin, so I’ve “almost” only opted for what I can get for free. As they say, “Once burned, twice shy.”
The two people whom I have come to trust with regard to Internet Marketing Education are Sean Rasmussen and Ed Dale, both Australians. Over the last year I’ve read quite a bit of Sean’s material and had no qualms about getting involved with his Learn and Earn competition. And since 2007 I’ve tried to find time to get involved in Ed Dale’s “30 Day Challenge” which is now simply called “The Challenge”. Both of these events give invaluable insights into Internet Marketing. Both are worth giving a whirl.

Hello Sean,
Sometimes free information is great, but other times because the information is “Free” we seem to dismiss it easily. I guess finding Internet Marketing Education that is also free, works when the information makes sense. There are lots of different “So called Experts” out on the internet that it can become all too confusing.
I like to follow down to earth people, that walk the walk and talk the talk. I have been to many wealth creation conferences/bootcamps/seminars over the last five years and what I have found is the people who are willing to take time out of their day to day life to really listen to another person, with taking those person feelings into account….then they are Mentors who can be trusted, and can deliever the Internet Marketing Education information that will work.
Cheers
Lisa

Hi Sean,
I think seminars are good for keeping up to date on Internet Marketing Education. I’ve found Webinars also to be beneficial. The internet in general has a lot on educating people into Internet Marketing.
I am inclined to believe however that many different people have many different ideas. Many are not focused with the same beliefs. Many have different ideas on what’s important.
The basics are important to me. They are that:
1) A mentor must have a proven track record.
2) A mentor must have integrity, honesty and a good standard of ethics.
3) A mentor must show that they have a genuine interest in teaching a newbie about Internet Marketing.
I’m happy to be where I am in the YOTA Internet Marketing Forum with Sean Rasmussen and I’m happy to be learning at my own pace.

I’m pretty sure I have found one of the best internet marketing educators in you Sean. You have to be so careful who you hand your money over to as a lot of people don’t offer the value you pay for. I am very happy to be part of your online forum and hope one day soon I will be able to purchase your homestudy program.
