All you have to do is enter the URL of your blog and it automatically sends it out to 23 search engines. If you have a WordPress blog, this is included in the newer versions of the platform.

Blog widgets provide some handy tools, too. You can broadcast your Twitter, Friendfeed, and Facebook and other social networking entries to most blogs regardless of platform. Some widgets allow you to stream video and audio content from other devices or sites such as Skype or Flickr. These tools cut down on the amount of different posts you need to create to keep your blog updated and fresh.
