Before I understood what a blog was about, I use to write about everything and anything which would have been confusing to search engines and anyone who was following my writing (not that anyone was) I feel I have come so far in the time I have been learning about blogging and internet marketing. With some more practice I will be writing great blog posts.

I have to say initially I got keywords mistaken for tags and added these tags on. I have sorted that now and see how the keywords work. Proof will be in using and creating that magnetism.

I have to say, the first paragraph makes a big impression. Is it easy to understand, and does it grab my attention? Also like a good picture or two, the white space, and bullet points.

A question to end the blog post is great, as it encourages the reader to reply, and sometimes this leads to some great interaction that can be beneficial to all.

I agree with you there Don.

You need the good content (keyword reach, so I can find it in the first place), but it has to be presented in an equally good way, so I really want to read it.

Like you are making sure your shop is nicely decorated and all products easy to access if you want to sell a lot of them. If everything is one big mess you might have great stuff in there, but only a few people will find them because they digg through all the other stuff.

So – write a great content for your blog post and make sure it’s easy on the eye as well.
