Great post on blogging. I had no idea that leaving a post on someone’s blog creates a link to your own – or at least not taken notice but will do next time.

Finding blogs in my niche and commenting them is great in more than just one way:

- I learn more about my niche and gain knowledge
- I can share the things I know and exchange with people with the same interest
- I get exposure to people that read this other blog and are interested in my niche
- I get backlinks to my blog

So – it is definitely a great idea to go out there, find some well-ranked blogs in my niche and write some good, valuable comments.
