A lot of affiliate marketers rely heavily on text to help them make affiliate commissions. Get creative and use whatever Affiliate Tools are available! This can help you substantially in your online efforts.
Text is important but graphics are proven to help you increase your sales conversion rate. And, many product creators provide affiliate tools for you to use, free of charge.
The first thing you should do when getting ready to start promoting a new affiliate product is to check for an affiliate section. Not only should you carefully review this to be sure you understand all the terms and conditions surrounding the affiliate marketing program, but there may be tools and resources there that you can use as well.
Most experienced product creators know that if they help affiliates sell more products, they’ll get wealthier, too. If you create your own products, this is something that you should keep in mind. Many affiliates overlook a little section set up just for them with all sorts of creative Affiliate Tools and resources.
Affiliate Tools – Photos And Banners
Check the product site for photos and banners that you can use. Be sure that you are allowed to use them – don’t just “snag” them. They can often be added to your site with your affiliate link with many different formats. A picture can be worth 1,000 words and is proven to be a creative that helps you sell.
Autoresponders And Articles
Many product creators offer free PLR articles and reports that can help you work your email marketing list, help you with web content such as for blog posts or articles for syndication on e-zines. Do yourself a favour and tweak them a little so they read as original. Add some links and some photos and use them to your advantage.
Affiliate Tools – Other Tips
Many product creators will also send you tips and advice to help you sell more products. Be sure that you subscribe the product creator’s marketing list so you can keep up to date with affiliate program changes as well as newly available creative items.
If a product you’re marketing doesn’t have much in the name of Affiliate Tools, don’t hesitate to get creative. You might choose to do so anyway, in order to set yourself apart from the crowd. You can purchase photographs, hire or barter with someone to design report and e-book covers or banners, and dabble with your own creativity as well. Have fun with your affiliate marketing and happy selling!
See you at the top of Google!

Hi Sean,
I like the idea of getting creative and using free affiliate tools that may be available. I would not like to think they were available and to not have used them to make more sales.
Armed with this knowledge I must have an advantage over new affiliates who have not found this article yet.
Lucky me! Thanks Sean, I enjoyed reading this article.
Hi Sean
Getting the affiliate tools that maybe available, as well as getting creative is just what I need to do more.
I have used my own photos a couple of times, and being able to do that can help save time looking for something relevant and so what I end up with is unique.

Some great affiliate tools tips here that I didn’t even realise were there. Proving once again the importance of researching what your chosen affiliate site is all about. Thanks for these handy tips Sean they are most valuable
I’ve not done any affiliate marketing yet, so coming in armed with this information will be great. It makes me one step ahead in the game from the other newbies.
I would just like to make a comment about tweaking PLR articles. Most are a waste of time as they are neither well written nor informative, nor particularly inviting to read.
If you are publishing on Ezine.Artcles – which has 98% of the ezine traffic – they pick up on poor quality, and easily identify regurgitated materials as well as re-writes of website contents.
Article marketing is the only real way to get free traffic in order to build a list – which is the basis for affiliate marketing. With it, if you write good useful and original material, you can establish a ‘name’ for yourself and people will look for more articles from you.
Peter
Don’t discount the power of social media. There are many ways to generate free traffic with article syndication just being one.
“Article marketing is the only real way to get free traffic in order to build a list” – I don’t agree Peter, like Gee says, article marketing is only one strategy and there are many many ways of building a list via free traffic.
Yes, I see your point and Gee’s, and I agree. However, I do think that Article Marketing is probably more effective unless you can really master social media and get traffic to it – to build that list.
With Article Marketing in Ezine.Articles.com you can ride on the back of their traffic and the fact that Google loves them.
I look forward to when you do social media – as that is one area I need to pull my socks up on – and take advantage of the fact that what I write is not so strict as what Ezine permits
Hi Sean,
I really think that when you’re looking to sell an affiliate product, the more tools you can get to help you the better. I think that the banner ads and photos look a little more professional than I could do myself.
Are you sure you can alter the articles that the product creator gives you to sell the product? I didn’t think that you could but I’m probably wrong. Or, maybe it differs between creators of the products?

Hi Sean
This all sounds very exciting. I have done a little bit of affiliate marketing via email and that was without much effort, however, actually promoting an affiliate product that I am passionate about would be lots of fun.
I will be looking forward to building a page on my blog to promote IMPOTY and I am sure I will be using all these tips you have given us here.
Thankyou
Blessings,
Elly

I must admit that in my few aborted attempts at affiliate marketing I looked at but didn’t utilize the tools provided by the company. Needless to say, these half-hearted attempts came to naught. This time around I may have a bit more time to dedicate to the tasks at hand and hopefully, can generate a different outcome. Keeping my fingers crossed along with everything else available for crossing.

These affiliate sections are very useful for setting up banners and sometimes short articles..
Use these or get more creative and set up your own photos and clips..
Remember the end result is to lead your customer to the purchase page..
I love using the banners that product creates supply. They look more professional then just a link. I haven’t come across anyone who supplies ideas for blogs or autoresponders yet though.
