If you’ve created a product, getting other people to sell it for you can propel you toward success. You only pay if they make a sale and they help build brand recognition for you for free. It’s a win-win. But, how do you find affiliates?
There are a lot of ways to attract Affiliate Marketers. Keep reading for tips to help you do that and for tips to attract affiliates that are proven successes.
Affiliate Networks
Affiliate networks can be a great way to attract sales people who want to sell your product. You will probably not have to pay a fee to the network as most just take a portion of the fee from the affiliate marketer. Everything can be managed for you and you can easily reach a wide audience of people looking for products to market.
Affiliate Hangouts
If you visit online water coolers for internet marketers, you’ll probably be able to advertise (or put a link in your own signature) to attract people who may want to sell for you. You’ll also learn tips and tricks and gather competitive market information for your niche.
Marketing Your Marketability
Consider starting a blog and optimizing for the ‘make money’ niche. Some organic SEO and promotion can entice people to sell your product. Successful Affiliate Marketers are often on the lookout for a new niche to get into. You may also attract newbies to internet marketing as well. This can require more support from your end to help them sell. More about that below.
Reach Out To Successful Affiliate Marketers
A great way to get people to sell your product is to look at who is selling products for your competitor. Search for successful sites and reach out to the site owners and ask them to consider selling your product. They have demonstrated that they know how to market in your niche and by showing them that your product could be profitable for them, you could entice a super affiliate to help you sell.
Supporting Your Sales People
How do you help your affiliates sell? Provide creatives! Consider creating banners and PLR articles for them to use. Help them with sales tips and consider giving out review copies of your product to entice them to not just sell for you but to give them the ability to see first hand why customers would want your product.
Sure, you can sell the product on your own but by sharing a bit of commission (the higher % you give away, the more Affiliate Marketers you’ll have selling for you!) you can extend your reach and reduce your own workload while increasing your profitability.
Have a most outstanding day.

Hi Sean,
It will be interesting if the time comes for me to find affiliates to sell a couple of the products I have in mind. That’s because they do not have many competitors selling them as yet.
They are popular products and services I have. I am looking forward to a time of advancing in this area by having affiliates sell UCLC’s for Upmart.
Sounds great Jill, I look forward to hearing of your success… go get em
Way to go Jill, I too will be looking forward to seeing your progress on this. Who knows one day there I may be just hangin out with other successful affiliate marketers by the water cooler.
Hi Sean,
These are all great ways to find affiliate marketers to market your product. As an affiliate marketer looking for products to sell, you can really tell the difference between the companies that provide good support for their affiliates and those that don’t. So, I’ve already got some ideas about the kind of support that I’d offer.
Also, I would want to ensure that I paid out a great commission to my affiliates. I think the more you value and support your affiliates, the better yours and their results would be.
Hopefully, by approaching it this way, I’d be able to attract some great affiliate marketers to market my product for me.

Hi Sean
I have just started creating my products and have not got as far as even thinking about enlisting affiliate marketers until coming across this article. Very interesting indeed as the possibilities for creating add ons and extras to my product can be free giveaways.
I think it is very beneficial to know of the possibilities of marketing products via affiliate marketers before creating the products as it is making me think more creatively about developing a range of products rather than just one or two.
For instance along with my Ebook can be an audio (free) a workbook (free) a video and a coaching program on video. Hmmm, many ideas are bubbling up. Thanks Sean.
Blessings,
Elly
